Venue Partner Terms
Effective date: May 2026
1. The Partner Relationship
AfterFive partners with independently owned and operated venues — restaurants, cocktail bars, live music venues, and similar establishments — to feature their spaces on the platform and to offer member benefits to AfterFive subscribers.
These terms govern the relationship between AfterFive and any venue or establishment that participates in the AfterFive partner network (“Partner” or “Partner Venue”). By participating in the network, the Partner agrees to these terms.
AfterFive and Partner Venues are independent entities. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, joint venture, or partnership relationship between AfterFive and any Partner Venue. AfterFive is not responsible for the day-to-day operations, safety, staffing, pricing, or service quality of any Partner Venue.
2. Listing Accuracy
Partner Venues are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to AfterFive is accurate and up to date, including:
- —Venue name, address, and contact information
- —Operating hours and seasonal closures
- —Event and special schedules
- —Description of any member perks or benefits
- —Any eligibility restrictions or conditions attached to member offers
Partners must notify AfterFive promptly when venue information changes — including changes to hours, ownership, temporary closures, or the discontinuation of any member benefit. AfterFive is not liable for inaccurate information displayed on the platform where the Partner failed to provide timely updates.
3. Member Benefits and Perks
Partners who offer member benefits agree to honor those benefits consistently to AfterFive members who present a valid digital member pass, subject to the following conditions:
- —Benefits apply only to the individual account holder, not guests, unless explicitly stated
- —Partners may apply reasonable conditions (e.g., minimum spend, time of day, no combination with other offers)
- —Benefits are not redeemable for cash
- —Partners may discontinue a benefit at any time by providing at least 7 days' advance notice to AfterFive
- —Partners should train front-of-house staff on the member pass and applicable benefits
AfterFive does not guarantee that members will be directed to Partner Venues, achieve any particular volume of visits, or generate any specific revenue for the Partner.
4. Content License
By providing AfterFive with photos, descriptions, logos, and other materials for use in venue listings, the Partner grants AfterFive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform and in related marketing materials for the duration of the partnership.
The Partner represents that it owns or has the right to license all content it provides and that such content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
5. Member Data
Partner Venues do not receive AfterFive member personal data through the partnership. The digital member pass confirms active membership status only. Partners may not use information observed from member interactions to independently market to or contact AfterFive members outside of the normal venue-guest relationship.
6. Conduct Standards
AfterFive may remove a venue from the platform or terminate a partnership if the Partner:
- —Provides materially false or misleading listing information
- —Consistently fails to honor stated member benefits without notice
- —Engages in conduct that harms AfterFive members or the AfterFive brand
- —Receives repeated unresolved complaints from AfterFive members
- —Ceases operations or changes ownership in a way that alters the partnership terms
7. AfterFive Discretion
AfterFive reserves the right to: (a) include or exclude any venue at its discretion; (b) edit, modify, or remove any listing or listing content at any time; (c) present venue information in any format it deems appropriate for the platform; and (d) terminate a partnership at any time with reasonable notice.
Being listed on AfterFive does not imply endorsement of any specific venue policy, pricing, or service quality. AfterFive is a discovery platform, not a recommendation of any particular experience or outcome.
8. Indemnification
Partner Venues agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AfterFive from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from: (a) inaccurate information provided by the Partner; (b) the Partner's failure to honor member benefits; (c) any claim by a member arising from their experience at the venue; or (d) any violation of these terms by the Partner.
