SMS Communication Disclosure

Overview
AfterFive may offer SMS (text message) notifications as a feature for members. This disclosure explains how SMS communications work, what messages you may receive, and how to opt out at any time. SMS messaging is entirely optional — it is never required to use AfterFive.
Note: SMS messaging is a planned feature. This disclosure governs SMS communications when that feature becomes active.
1. Consent and Opt-In
AfterFive will only send you SMS messages if you have provided your mobile phone number during onboarding and have given explicit consent to receive text messages. We will present a clear opt-in prompt at the time of collection.
By providing your phone number and consenting to SMS, you agree to receive automated text messages from AfterFive at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing a membership or accessing any platform feature.
2. Types of Messages
AfterFive SMS messages may include:
- —Tonight alerts — curated venue and event picks for the current evening
- —Member benefit reminders — notifications about active perks at nearby partner venues
- —Account notifications — billing alerts, password resets, or security notices
- —Special member events — invitations to member-exclusive events or experiences
Message frequency will vary. We will not send more messages than are reasonably necessary to deliver the notification type you have selected.
3. Costs
AfterFive does not charge for SMS messages. However, message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan. Contact your wireless provider for details about any charges that may apply.
4. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time using any of the following methods:
- —Reply STOP to any AfterFive SMS message — you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent
- —Update your notification preferences in your AfterFive account settings
- —Email support@joinafterfive.com with your request to opt out of SMS
After opting out via STOP, you may re-subscribe at any time by texting START to the same number, or by re-enabling SMS in your account settings.

6. Supported Carriers
AfterFive SMS is delivered via Twilio and supports all major U.S. carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed on all carriers or in all geographic regions. AfterFive is not responsible for undelivered messages due to carrier issues.
7. Privacy
Your phone number is collected and stored as described in our Privacy Policy. It is not shared with Partner Venues, third-party marketers, or other members. SMS delivery is handled by Twilio, which processes the number only for message delivery.
